This year I’m once again training for and participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer 2-day. Its 39.3 miles: a full marathon the first day and a half marathon the second day. Is it grueling? You bet. Is the training exhausting? You bet. Is it the most amazing, exhilarating, uplifting and life altering weekend you’ll ever have? YOU BET!
I’m issuing a challenge this year: I walk 39.3 miles and you donate a cup of coffee, lunch, or dinner with the family. Heck, donate a date night if you’d like. You see, ever dollar counts, it all adds up to research, treatment, and a CURE. Every dollar signifies HOPE to Hundreds of 1000s of families. In these tough economic times we all can find extra money for Starbucks, McDonalds or a pizza night out with the family. What if you gave that money to a cause you believe in? Think how that money could add up.
If you’d like to donate, please go here. If you want to learn more, please go here.
I’ll be updating you on training and fundraising progress in the upcoming months. The Walk is June 2-3, 2012 and with your support, I’ll be ready.
Thanks so much!
Oh, and I’ll be coming back every couple of weeks to bother you solicite donations. The faster I reach my goal, the sooner the annoying informative posts will stop.
