Last week Sammy wanted a haircut. “I want a new haircut mom, and make it fancy!” I have no idea what that means, so I just cut his hair short. Lately he doesn’t have the patience for styling. I don’t want it super-short because I love the curls, so I keep it just long enough for the ringlets to show but short enough that it takes 1-2 minutes to do in the morning.
After Sammy got his cut, he wanted me to cut my hair. While I didn’t go quite as short, we did chop off 5 inches. While getting my cut, Sam decided he might just need multi-colored extensions, you know, to look “fancy.”
I don’t know how practical this look is, but it’s definitely fun!

I think he’s secretly jealous of Hani’s braids. My hair? Not as exciting and someone would have to take a pic. maybe the mirror tonight?
We finally took out her braids last week… it is so weird to see her with short hair again!
